Out of hibernation..Karaikudi Trip

I am out of hibernation! After almost a year!

Will update you with some pictures from my latest travel to few places in Tamilnadu. We did a road trip to Karaikudi, Madurai, Rameshwaram and Kodaikanal.

The beautiful mansions of Karaikudi will take you to a completely different world. We had a great time living in one of the mansions and eating the authentic Chettinad food :-)

Who would not want to live in such houses. Each has 100 - 120 rooms.. That many people. Every day will be a celebration

A dear friend of mine keeps giving me something or the other to do and helps me stay creative. So she forcefully dumped these three pebbles at my place and asked me to paint it. And I had to :-)

So I went into hibernation after I did the draft of this on the wall more than a year back. Most of it got washed away by wind and rain.. So I had to recreate it before painting it.

My parents live in our ancestral house which is 70 years old.. My dear friend came visiting us last year and clicked some lovely photographs. Things that I love about the house I grew up in..

Wall Mural - Day 1

After a fruitful weekend meeting up with some awesome friends, I got myself to finally get started with the wall painting. Started out today by just chalking the design on to the wall. The details are yet to be added :)
