I have this thing for glass bottles and tins. I never feel like throwing them away. I had saved from beverage bottles for long and didn't think of doing anything more than that until I saw this.
I decided to give them a break :P , took them out, got rid of all the labels, dried them up, poured some acrylic paint, and went shake shake shake!! Voila, see what I got!!
I have two more bottles left, plan to use some pastel colours. I did not have the patience to wait till I get new colours from the store to paint these, so used the colours I already had. I plan to add some images around the bottle, decoupage or glass paint.. Any suggestions :-)
Cool stuff Rema! I love the pink one :)
ReplyDeleteFor the brown one, I can only think of tiny mirrors from the mouth to the bulge, and a single red carnation in it :)
Thanks Radha! Wow!! That sounds really good.. :)
ReplyDeleteWow!! This is awesome Rema. Loved the idea. Just to confirm you poured paint inside the bottles then shook them, right? No paint on the outside? And thanks for dropping by my blog and following :)
